[Recap] HappyLand Community AMA
To update our users on exciting recent and future developments on HappyLand as well as to have an open discussion with the community, we recently held a special AMA on the HappyLand Discord server on April 19th, 2022 at 4 PM UTC with a reward pool of $200 in $HPL. Our CEO, Mr. Khoa Dang, picked and answered 10 best questions submitted in advance via Google Form and also answered many great live questions during the community Q&A. In case you missed it, here’s a quick recap of the AMA.

From @duylieu: HPL is the main token but at the moment I see HPL has no effect at all because the HPL earned from farming is enough to go back to buy a new plot. So in the future, do the devs have any plans to use HPL for game development?
In the update in March, we've implemented both HPL and HPW in buying and selling of in-game material. This helps balance the changes in the price of HPL/HPW and also decreases the inflation of HPW. You need HPL to purchase plots and seeds.
The profit from earned HPL is based on the amount of HPL spent to reduce inflation of HPL. HPL is the governing token, so in the future, it will be used in many activities such as land breeding, or purchase tickets to enter minigames (about minigame will more detail), buying other important items.
From @@K0NSTANTIN328: As everyone understands, in the current situation, events with ravens and pigs cannot cope with the current overabundance of tokens. What are the plans to solve this problem?
As you know we've implemented events and mini games like crow hunting or pig racing. Crows are not only a problem for your crops but also help with inflation (note that: in HappyLand there are both good and bad variables for your crops). In the future we will add crow hunting as a mini-game, with the crow hunting minigame players can participate in crow hunting whenever they want for a reward, it is thus not mandatory for players to play crow hunting.We will be organizing PvP tournament with this mini-game too, while PvE can also compete through the leaderboard. Due to low number and some limitations we are planning to do the following optimize and create events to attract players to participate in these minigames.
As planned, we are developing many other minigames to build an ecosystem of minigames that are related to farming concept and activities. Minigames can range different from PvE to PvP, skill-based, or bettig that will earn players a reward. On top of earning from farming, you can use your harvest or bought products from someone else or use HPL/HPW to participate in these minigames. They are designed in order to burn tokens, help control and decrease inflation and users can earn there also. I hope you will be happy in our ecosystem of minigames!
From @Snowden: Dear developers, please take care of animals and their profitability. I have tested goats/sheep/cows and they require feeding every 1.5 hours for 5 days. It is unrealistic for the human life organism to monitor the life of animals and wake up for feeding. Please do >5 hours at least with an increase in cycles by the ratio of the choice of feeding time 0/15-15/15 to 15 days. Let's say 1 feeding is equal to 5 hours, then the cycle 1/15 is ~ a day. Right now one sheep/goat/cow brings 380/390/310 HPW ~$3 clean with full feeding in 5 days. And this is ridiculous at the current rate. And the real time spent. Also, the uniqueness of the sheep and euphoria disappears against the background that the goat brings more profit, as well as the cow, they are all of class ""C"". thank you for working and developing the project
Right, sheep goat or cows are animals that gives product many times. And we know that caring for them now is quite hard and ROI is not that high. However, we have a purpose, all products ranging from milk to fleece are essential ingredients for factories (Milk factories, Bakery factories) through that it needs more processing, selling raw materials/products is less valuable than selling a complete product.
So, we will limit the players ability to buy and sell their product immediately from their warehouse like the current game, instead there will be some limit regarding the amount of product a player can sell. We will encourage players to sell according to orders or directly to other players (to play minigames or use in factories).
And regarding the time it takes to care for your animals and plants, we will implement tools that help automate this process. We will implement day and night mode for animals, so that animals will have time to rest. We expect to update these feature in June.
Regarding the C class right now related to animal product. As you know right now we are separating the quality of harvests based on the plots. We done this in order to satisfy the following rules: product from different lands will have different quality. With animals we are planning to implement other special care package for example Organic products…

From @Knight#4346 : I knew HappyLand is walking through the roadmap. So, the number of farmers is not much right now. I want to know what's the plan to increase the farmer. One more thing, could you please amend the feeding time for animals from 1.5 hours to 6 hours? If so, please add this issue to your plan. Thanks!
For the first question, we are constantly conducting marketing to improve our brand with a lot of other communities. Currently, we are cooperating with guilds and major KOLs.
On top of that in this month we also have a free top-up campaign that offer new player 100 HPL and 200 HPW if the account is created given that it satisfy the requirements. More detail you can find from this link:
In the upcoming weeks we are creating a referral system where players can earn bonuses through inviting others to join.
With the second question, about the caring time for the animals, according to the plan, we will include the support tools for farmers, the day-night mode as mentioned above.

We are having this feature on Testnet and we are receiving feedback from our community and testers. We expect to roll out this feature in May so please look forward to it!
From @leaeis99: Will active players earn tokens from daily quests just like SLP in Axie Infinity?
Yes, In HappyLand we have daily quests: for now the Daily orders is where players can plant or raise animals to gain product that satisfy the requirements to receive bonus. On top of daily orders, players can participate in daily tasks such as watering, pick insect, help friends or other tasks to receive rewards.

Question: Why do we get negative HPL when selling pigs?
The price of buying and selling of harvest is based on the ratio of HPL/HPW. The price include both HPL and HPW. HPL is implemented to balance when the price of HPL/HPW changes.
As you know, HPL is the governing token, while HPW is the reward token, the main earning reward still comes from HPW. When harvesting, farmers can sell directly to the store or you can follow the order. We always encourage users to ell according to orders this way users will earn more HPL, HPW or experience. For product like pigs, when you sell individually to the barn, you will not make more profit like in orders.
Question: I see that in-game there is a sign for seasons and weather, but I do not see the effect of it on my crops or my cattle in an obvious way. Can you make this more apparent?
Sure! In the current version, we already have the information about seasons (spring, summer, autumn, winter) and weather. However, like you said it is not obvious.
In the upcoming update we are implementing the weather effect in game beside that we are implementing specific plants that are good for each seasons and weather, so players have to choose the right plants to plant in day.
Question: Currently, pig racing is bet with harvest products. Don't I need to wait 4 hours for harvest to play?
Yes, now you can use the product harvested from the barn to bet in the Happy Pig racing mini-game. However, according to our plan we will create a marketplace so players can buy and sell product with each other, or buy from the system. Then you can use token to exchange for agriculture product or items to participate in the mini-games.
From @Raulinio: My suggestion: open a market for sales of grown plants. It is possible inside the game without blockchain. And create a game. The same rates. We take an event, preferably a real one. For example, hockey. There are two commands. And we do 2 or 3 events. win 1, draw, win2 players, bet hpw (you can use grown plants, but here you need to think about the ratio of the amount to the plants when taking bets) on one of the results. If the player guessed the result, then his own amount is returned to him + the number of people who bet on the other 2 non-matching results, which is divided among all those who guessed in proportion to the amount of the investment. On the part of the team, they initially add some amount to the pool for all totals so that the players have something to fight for. Once a week, you can arrange a weekly prize, with a bonus of land, for the one who guessed the result and bet the largest amount. The main thing is to be a real event from the sport, which you can follow. I don't see any problems in the programming plan, because there are already pigs and the principle is about the same

Currently, we already have plans to open an in-game marketplace so players can easily buy/sell their product or other in-game items they win from the game with other users. Hardworking farmers will be able to plant, raise and harvest product or other in-game items and sell them on this marketplace.
The players will create demand and supply for the product. There will be players who want to participate in minigames or other activities in-game that require harvests/ other in-game items (eg: pig racing...) but do not have time to plant and harvests, they can purchase these product from one market to another/ Marketplace will be a place where the seller and buyer meet, and automatically create demand for each other.
We will create many minigames inside the ecosystems, events where players will compete against another to become the winner and receive reward.
About your idea of game, it is a great one, thank you and we will consider.

You will able visit other players' lands soon, you can help them catching worms... and steal their products.
From @axieMichai: How do you think about open more plot on a land with fusion land function or happylander can buy more plot (max 64 plot/land) with hpl or hpw! Another question when wildwest land on mainnet!
That’s a great question! You see that the maximum amount of plots is 8 plots, and a lot of them are empty. In the future, in order to open the plot you need to buy items to expand your land, the items will most likely become a secondary NFT which you need to buy using HPL and the land expansion is likely coming soon when we see the right opportunity.
From @Lady Hằng: What do you think when buying back to have a better price of HPW, better income for easy marketing? Some scholars and even players who have followed you guys from the beginning to now like me will invite friends to play together, but right now if u give me money, I don't dare invite close friends to play anymore.
We do understand your frustration. As you see our product development has been progressing quite well and the game has been improved a lot since the game was released. We also have been doing marketing by doing many campaigns and giveaways.
Token price however depends a lot of factors including GameFi market trending, and the overall market in general. As you see GameFi has not done well since last 4 months. When the market is unstable, most people will just cash out to keep their funds safe, and that happened to not just HappyLand, but many other games. However, we are still confident that GameFi will come back stronger in next few months, and that's when our well-developed products will attract more users. So I thinking right now it is the time for the whole GameFi to build great products for next upcoming trending of GameFi.
About buy-back, we have been doing buy-backs a lot whenever we get revenues from selling lands or from market places. More mini-games and burning features will be rolled out to make the game sustainable as buy-backs is not a sustainable solution for long term.

The Happyland team is working around the clock to upgrade the Happyland, add more exciting minigames and features for gamers to play. We are also exploring new mechanism to make the tokens more sustainable. Our partners have been supported us actively since the beginning. They connected us with more guilds and more partners to expand our ecosystem. Our partners also give us advice on Expand Happpyland to other blockchain as Avalanche, Fantom and Polygon blockchain.
